The biggest individual shares of a match's points
Raw totals can be dominated by fixtures with more voters. Here we divide a player's weighted 3–2–1 total by all available points in that match. This highlights performances that captured a large share of their own match's voting.
Sam Walker leads this view for Round 22, Cowboys v Roosters: 40 of 84 available points (47.6%) went to them. That performance earned 6 simulated Dally M points.
We require at least 10 ballots per match for this comparison. 170 matches qualify; 28 voted matches fall below the threshold. Ten ballots is a transparent editorial filter, not a guarantee of statistical reliability. Percentages can still move substantially with a few extra votes.
Why a 50% share is the ceiling
Each ballot distributes six points in total, and any one player can receive at most three. A player picked first on every ballot therefore receives 50% of all available points, not 100%. Their first-choice share would be 100%; those percentages answer different questions.
A high share describes dominance among the people who voted on that match. It is not an estimate of performance relative to every NRL player, and it should not be compared with a first-choice percentage without changing the denominator. Equal percentages are ordered by ballot count, then round and name. See the scoring guide for worked examples.
